Auerbach Pollock Friedlander, a San Francisco-based consulting firm specializing in theatre engineering and design, sound and video communications, production management, and technical direction, has announced the appointment of PATRICK MARKLE as chief administrative officer. He has led production and technical operations at the Metropolitan, Santa Fe, and San Francisco opera companies and is the co-founder of Figaro Systems Inc., a multi-lingual text captioning display service for the performing arts. Markle is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College.
