Boston Baroque, a period-instrument orchestra that performs at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall and Sanders Theatre at Harvard University, has announced the appointment of MIGUEL A. RODRIGUEZ as executive director, effective October 15. He brings an extensive background in arts management, including positions at Opera Boston, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Boston Musica Viva, and Scullers Jazz Club. He is currently finance director for Mainers United for Marriage, and from 2010 until early this year served as director of development for the Massachuetts-based LGBT advocacy organization Mass Equality. Prior to working in arts management Rodriguez had a career as a lyric tenor in both Europe and the U.S.
