PATRICK HOSFIELD has been named development director of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music in Santa Cruz, California. He goes to Cabrillo from the Oregon Bach Festival, where he was director of corporate and donor relations. Hosfield had earlier held development positions at the American Symphony Orchestra and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Also a vocalist and conductor, he has performed with ensembles in such places as New York, Boston, and Eugene. Ore. Hosfield holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Harvard University and a master’s degree in conducting from Rutgers University.
