The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra has named KAREN DORN director of volunteer services. She was most recently executive director of the Greater Cincinnati Arts and Education Center, where she was instrumental in raising funds for the Erich Kunzel Center for Arts Education building at Cincinnati’s School for the Creative and Performing Arts. A graduate of SCPA with additional degrees from Vanderbilt University and Loyola University, Dorn also worked with BOARDway Bound, a leadership program of the Cincinnati-based ArtsWave organization, and is a board member of Friends of CCM, a support organization for the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
