Early Music America, a national service organization heaquartered in Seattle, has appointed ANN FELTER executive director. She succeeds the retiring MARIA COLDWELL. Felter served as executive director of Renaissance & Baroque in Pittsburgh from 1999 to 2008, and was more recently major gifts officer for Pittsburgh’s Magee-Women’s Research Institute & Foundation. In Pittsburgh she has served on the boards of Gateway to the Arts and the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society. Felter holds a master’s degree in arts administration from Indiana University and a bachelor’s in music performance from Pennsylvania’s Gettysburg College.
