The New World Symphony, the orchestral academy in Miami Beach, Fla., has appointed MARTE SIEBENHAR assistant vice president for audience development; she previously held the title director of audience development. Siebenhar was recently executive director of the Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami. She was an arts management fellow at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and subsequently managed consultancies at the DeVos Institute of Arts Management. Siebenhar has also consulted for national arts and cultural institutions through Cultured Innovations/Siebenhar Consulting LLC, which she founded. She is a graduate of New York City’s Manhattan School of Music.
