Two senior staff appointments have been announced by the New York Pops. CAROLYN O. BOLT joined the staff in September as director of development, and LISA BETH VETTOSO in November as director of education.

Carolyn Bolt previously held senior fundraising positions at Marymount Manhattan College, East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, and New York University. She began her career in visual arts administration, working at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art, Allan Frumkin Gallery, and Charles Cowles Gallery. Bolt holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from the State University of New York, Purchase, and a master’s in arts administration from New York University.

Lisa Beth Vettoso worked most recently as director of educational and community programming for American Repertory Ballet. She was the first managing director of the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable, and prior to that held education posts at Carnegie Hall, the State Theatre of New Jersey, and Arts Horizons. She is president and artistic director of Aspire Performing Arts Company, which she founded in 2011. Vettoso received a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and a master’s in educational theater from New York University.
