ANNA KUWABARA has been named vice president for orchestra operations and facilities at the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, effective January 17, 2012. She is currently assistant director of MBA career and professional development at Harvard Business School. Prior to assuming that post Kuwabara served for nine years as executive vice president of the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Mass., and for seven years before that was director of operations at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A 1991 graduate of the League of American Orchestras’ Orchestra Management Fellowship Program, she holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Yale University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
