DAVID HYSLOP, a Minneapolis-based performing arts consultant, has been named interim executive director of the Sun Valley (Idaho) Summer Symphony to succeed JENNIFER TEISINGER, who will step down later this month to become executive director of Colorado’s Bravo! Vail music festival. Sun Valley is seeking a permanent executive director. Hyslop has held top executive posts at the St. Louis Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Oregon Symphony. As interim CEO he has managed transitions at the Stockton (Calif.) and Dallas symphonies and the Louisville Orchestra, and he has assisted the Santa Fe Opera and Amarillo (Tex.) Symphony with strategic planning.
