Organist and conductor KENT TRITLE, director of choral activities at Manhattan School of Music and music director of New York City’s Musica Sacra and Oratorio Society of New York, has been named to an additional post as chair of MSM’s organ department. He succeeds the late McNEIL ROBINSON, who died last May. Tritle is organist for the New York Philharmonic, for the American Symphony Orchestra, and for New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine, where he also serves as director of cathedral music. As an organ recitalist he performs regularly in Europe, the U.K., and across the United States.
