Symphony New Hampshire, based in Nashua, N.H., and formerly known as the Nashua Symphony Association, has announced the appointment of HOLLY MacEWEN KRAFKA as director of the Symphony NH Chorus. She is the founding music director of New World Chorale, based in the Boston area, and served as acting director of the Symphony NH Chorus prior to her formal appointment in August. A native of Wellesley, Mass., she is a graduate of Pennsylvania’s Gettysburg College and holds a master’s degree in choral conducting from Boston Conservatory. As a singer she served as a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus for twenty years.
