The ASCAP Foundation, the charitable arm of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, has announced the winners of the 2025 ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Awards, which encourage talented young creators of concert music ranging in age from 13 to 30. Previous award recipients include Grammy-winning composer Emily Bear and Pulitzer Prize-winning composers Michael Abels, Jennifer Higdon, David Lang, Melinda Wagner, and Julia Wolfe.
