A report in Wednesday’s (7/8) Daily Journal (Cumberland County, New Jersey) states, “The Bay-Atlantic Symphony recently received a $50,000 grant from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, according to a news release. The Dodge Foundation praised the symphony’s established partnerships with Cumberland County College, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Cape May Music Festival and the Avalon Free Public Library, the release said. ‘We are grateful for the continued support of the Dodge Foundation, and excited about this latest grant,’ said Paul D. Herron, Bay-Atlantic Symphony executive director, in the release. ‘Despite these difficult economic times that have threatened arts organizations, the Dodge Foundation continues to be generous in the funding it has provided us.’ ”
