The Berlin Philharmonic has launched an app that allows users to stream performances from its Digital Concert Hall to their mobile devices or through Apple TV. In 2008 the Berlin Philharmonic created its Digital Concert Hall for live and on-demand internet concert streaming in 2008; it now presents nearly all its concerts live in HD. The new DCH app gives iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users access to the same free and premium content already being available via internet streaming to computers, including archived and live concerts by the Berlin Philharmonic under Principal Conductor Simon Rattle, filmed interviews, education concerts and trailers, and biographies of all Berlin Philharmonic musicians. More information about the DCH app is available here and here.
