JIM ABRAHAMSON has been elected chairman of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors, succeeding BEN JOHNSON. Abrahamson is president and CEO of Interstate Hotels and Resorts, and has held senior management posts with the Hyatt Corporation, Marcus Corporation, and Hilton Hotels. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota.
