J. SAMUEL PARKHILL has been elected president of the Portland (Maine) Symphony Orchestra Board of Trustees. A resident of South Freeport, he has been associated with The Hall Corporation (formerly The Stackpole Corporation), a diversified manufacturing company, for 27 years, and has served as its CEO since 1995. Parkhill is also a director of BTU International, Inc., and chairman of its Compensation Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams College, a J.D. from Boston University, and attended the Advanced Management and Corporate Finance programs at Harvard University.
