The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra will perform a program entitled “Tangos and More” on May 16 at the First Baptist Bryan Church in Bryan, Texas, for a reduced-capacity audience. Music Director Marcelo Bussiki and the orchestra will be joined by bandoneónist Julien Labro in Five Tango Sensations and Adiós Nonino by Astor Piazzolla, whose 100th birthday would have been in March 2021. Also on the program will be Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, Suites I and III. Virtual tickets are also being offered for the concert, which will be live-streamed and then made available during the week following the event.
