As part of its 125th-anniversary celebrations this season, Carnegie Hall has released a free mobile app featuring personal stories about the hall in the format of digital postcards. The “Dear Carnegie Hall” postcards include contributions from mezzo-soprano Susan Graham; Soyeong Park, NYO-USA participant; head usher Joseph C. Reid; and composer Nico Muhly. Also included are stories about The Beatles and Frank Sinatra and a gallery where users can play videos directly through the app. Users can record their own stories or memories of Carnegie Hall and link them to a photo to create a digital postcard to send to friends.
