In Tuesday’s (2/11) Tennessean (Nashville), Marcus K. Dowling writes, “Two months into 2025, it’s becoming apparent that we’re living in Dolly Parton’s Music City. The latest move from the Country Music and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is the announcement of the septet of acclaimed vocalists who will perform David Hamilton’s newly orchestrated versions of her catalog of songs at the March 20 world premiere of her new symphonic concert, ‘Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony.’ At the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony, led by Principal Pops Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez, will support the concert. For 14 months, Katelyn Drye, Hollie Hammel, Julie Williams, Blair Lamb, Denitia, Ally Jackson, and Katie Basden are the vocalists tasked with bringing ‘Threads: My Songs in Symphony’ to the stage not just in Nashville but to over a dozen stages nationwide….
