Wendy Fanning.
Wendy Fanning has been appointed executive director of the Fort Collins Symphony in Colorado, effective April 1, 2025. She succeeds Executive Director Mary Kopco, who is retiring. Fanning’s career includes managing fine arts programs and securing funding for organizations such as the Wyoming Women’s Business Center. As executive director of the Wyoming Women’s Business Center, she played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s services and fostering community partnerships. Her background also includes leadership positions with the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum and the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne, where she increased philanthropic contributions and developed new programming. Fanning holds a bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Fine Arts from the University of Wyoming, with graduate studies in American Studies, Art History, English, and Women’s Studies.
