Violinist Helen Kim, coming off a one-year contract with the SLSO, returns as a full member this fall. … Section viola Di Shi, with degrees from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and graduate studies at USC’s Thornton School of Music, will begin his membership in the orchestra with September’s European tour.
