2025 marks a new year, new administration, and new session of Congress. With so much change, it can feel intimidating to get involved in advocacy, but a healthy arts ecosystem requires all of us to play our part at the federal, state, and local levels. On Tuesday, February 24, the League of American Orchestras will present “Playing Your Part: Advocacy in 2025,”  a webinar—free to League members—that examines key policy priorities, explains how to engage policymakers year-round, and offers tips from experts and peers well-practiced in speaking up for the arts.

Speakers for the webinar are Tiffany Gourley Carter, Policy Counsel, National Council of Nonprofits; Marni Cook, Senior Director, Community Engagement and Volunteer Services, San Francisco Symphony; David Holland, Deputy Director, Creative West; and Joe Tackett, President, West Virginia Symphony.

“Playing Your Part: Advocacy in 2025” takes place on Tuesday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern/11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. This webinar is free for League members and available to non-members for a fee. If you can’t attend the webinar live, register to receive the recording. Learn more and register at https://americanorchestras.org/event/playing-your-part-advocacy-in-2025/. Questions?
