On April 1, the Jackson Symphony gave a pops concert titled “Rewind: Celebrating the Music of the 80s” that did exactly that, with a playlist of the decade’s top tunes. Artistic Director and Conductor Peter Shannon led the concert, which featured guest artists Walter Tolentino, Christine LaFond-Shebeck, Ben Caron, Mark Slutsky, Ben White, and Sven Martin performing with the orchestra at Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson, Tennessee.
