For decades, orchestras have been marketing and promoting individual concerts, each on its own merits. This “bottom-up” marketing works fine when presenting programs and artists with their own brand recognition. But for offerings that might not sell themselves, a different approach is needed. On Thursday, March 26, the League of American Orchestras and Sametz Blackstone Associates will present “Evolving Your Brand to Build Emotional Connection, Trust, and Audiences,” a 60-minute webinar that will explain how orchestras can develop a verbal and visual brand strategy that promotes their whole organization and showcases unique concert experiences. Top-down branding can add value to all programming and build the trust and emotional connections to increase earned and contributed revenue. The session will connect theory to examples from orchestras of all sizes.

Speakers: Ronni Reich, Senior Strategist, Sametz Blackstone Associates, and Roger Sametz, President/CEO, Sametz Blackstone Associates. The content of this webinar was developed by Sametz Blackstone Associates and the League.

“Evolving Your Brand to Build Emotional Connection, Trust, and Audiences” takes place on Thursday, March 26, 1:00 p.m. Eastern/10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. If you can’t attend the webinar live, register to receive the recording. Questions? Contact League Member Services at member@americanorchestras.org.
