Marilyn Rosen, the longtime manager of the Symphony Division of the Boston-based booking and management agency Ted Kurland Associates, has formed her own agency, “Marilyn Rosen Presents.” The new agency, also based in Boston, will specialize in booking symphonic-based performers of jazz, pop, R&B, the American Songbook, crossover Broadway, and big-band music. Among the performers signed on at Rosen’s agency are singer and pianist Michael Feinstein; the Portland-based band Pink Martini; the vocal ensemble New York Voices; singers Patti Austin, Julie Budd, Liz Callaway, and Maureen McGovern; the Montreal-based tango ensemble Quartango; Blood, Sweat & Tears, the contemporary jazz-rock group; and the Duke Ellington Orchestra.
