Orchestras Feeding America, the 250-orchestra food drive led by the League of American Orchestras, will be featured on CBS News’s Early Show on Wednesday, March 25. Taking the lead as spokespersons are Jon Deak, associate principal bassist with the New York Philharmonic; Diane Wittry, music director and conductor for the Norwalk, Allentown, and Ridgewood symphony orchestras; Susan Thomas, principal flute, and Cheryl Bishkoff, principal oboe, the Rhode Island Philharmonic; and a yet-to-be-named musician from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Backing up the spokespersons will be members of the staffs of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and the League of American Orchestras. Early Show co-host Dave Price will conduct the interview, which is scheduled to air between 7:30 and 8:00 AM EDT. Check your local listings for channel information.
