1 in 8 people in our country don’t know where their next meal is coming from. In response to this critical situation, the League is calling on our members to join together for an unprecedented effort by orchestras across the country, March 27-28, 2009.
Inspired by the film The Soloist, in theaters April 24, the League is partnering with Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization, to unite our field and become a catalyst for change.
Making a difference to those in need couldn’t be easier. The League will partner you with a local Feeding America agency and provide ready-to-use materials for organizing your food drive. All you have to do is collect the contributions!
