
Trevor Worden, new director of leadership and planned giving at the Richmond Symphony in Virginia.
Trevor Worden has joined Virginia’s Richmond Symphony as director of leadership and planned giving. He goes to the symphony after serving as senior director of development for the Virginia League of Conservation Voters, where he implemented the organization’s first planned giving program. Prior to his time at the League of Conservation Voters, he worked at Virginia Commonwealth University in several capacities and became interested in planned giving and major giving strategy. Worden moved to Richmond in 2016 from New York City. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Fundraising Executives and chairs their mentoring program. He also co-chairs the Program Committee of the Virginia Fundraising Institute, and serves on the Philanthropy Committee for the University of North Carolina at Asheville’s Alumni Board of Directors, his alma mater.
