The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra’s 2009-10 season, to be announced at 5:30 p.m. (CST) on February 10 from the stage of Powell Hall in St. Louis, will be broadcast live on HECTV.org, the website of HEC-TV, the St. Louis-based producer of education, arts, and cultural television programming. At the announcement, the orchestra’s music director, David Robertson, and president, Fred Bronstein, will discuss 2009-10 programming and other SLSO updates in a town hall meeting format, with questions and comments from the live audience and via email; members of the orchestra are also scheduled to perform. The announcement can be viewed through HEC-TV on Charter Channel 26 and at HECTV.org.
