The League of American Orchestras has announced two interim appointments for its artistic programs. Cindi Hubbard will be responsible for the League’s conducting programs, which include the American Conducting Fellows Program and the National Conducting Institute; Linda Golding will be responsible for the League’s new-music programs, including the Ford Made in America and Music Alive programs. Hubbard is Managing Principal, Cindi Hubbard & Associates, and Golding is founder of The Reservoir. The League’s conducting and new-music programs were formerly handled by Michael Manley, the League’s Director of Artistic Programs, who left his position to return to his roots as a French horn player.
