During its distinguished history, the company has been associated with such musical giants as Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Grieg. From the 20th century its catalog has included Mahler, Hugo Wolf, R. Strauss, Morton Feldman, George Crumb, and John Cage, while its catalog of contemporary composers includes Jonathan Dove, Brian Ferneyhough, Tyshawn Sorey, and Erkki-Sven Tüür. Like other music publishers acquired by Wise Music Group—Chester Music, G. Schirmer, Associated Music Publishers, Novello & Co, Éditions Alphonse Leduc, Première Music, Le Chant du Monde, Edition Wilhelm Hansen, Unión Musical Ediciones, Bosworth Music GmbH, and Campbell Connelly—Edition Peters Group will retain its individual identity….
