On June 10, the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced regional Emmy nominees. The Owensboro Symphony, Music Director Troy Quinn, and Tanner+West have been nominated for “Owensboro Symphony Presents a Night at the Oscars” in two categories: Entertainment (Short or Long Form Content) and Audio (Live or Post-Produced). The Owensboro Symphony launched the project  in early 2021, recording a performance with a live audience for broadcast on Kentucky Educational Television (KET). Tanner+West directed and produced the program, which aired on KET in March 2023, and KET subsequently released the program nationally. “Owensboro Symphony Presents a Night at the Oscars” has since aired over 100 times in more than 16 states and Puerto Rico on 64 PBS- TV stations. The Emmy winners will be announced on July 20 at the Ohio Valley Chapter’s 60th Annual Emmy Awards Gala in Lexington, Kentucky. “Owensboro Symphony Presents a Night at the Oscars” is available here.
