On July 6, with the FIFA World Cup in full swing, Brazil’s Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo (OSESP) under Principal Conductor Marin Alsop will perform Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at the Sala São Paulo, in a concert broadcast live on medici.tv. Scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm EDT, the performance will feature soprano Lauren Snouffer, alto Denise de Freitas, tenor John Mark Ainsley, baritone Paulo Szot, and singers from two affiliated choirs, the Coro Acadêmico da Osesp and the Coro da Osesp.
