The Albany (N.Y.) Symphony Orchestra has appointed JENENE CHERNEY director of artistic operations. She served most recently as director of operations for the Phoenix Symphony. Previous affiliations include The Knights, where she served as that chamber orchestra’s operations and tour manager, and Santa Fe Opera, where she was a stage production supervisor. Trained in French horn performance, Cherney holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Music degree from Rutgers University.
