“ ‘This has been my life for 11 years, and I have put everything I have into making this an organization that is highly valued in the region,’ said Eric Valliere, Symphony New Hampshire’s executive director. Valliere’s last day with the symphony will be Feb. 11. He has been hired by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where he will serve as assistant artistic administrator.… Valliere began working at Symphony New Hampshire in 2005, although it was named Nashua Symphony Orchestra at the time. The name change in 2012 served as a catalyst for the organization, and an inspiration for its employees to serve all of New Hampshire—not just the Greater Nashua region, [Valliere] said.… In addition to offering more performances in places such as Concord and Lebanon, [Valliere] said Symphony New Hampshire is expanding its educational programs to serve school districts beyond Nashua, including Manchester and Concord.”
