Pianist ANNE-MARIE McDERMOTT has been named artistic director of Colorado’s Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival to succeed EUGENIA ZUKERMAN beginning with the 2011 season. McDermott enjoys an active career as recitalist, chamber musician and concerto soloist, performing more than 100 concerts each year. She is a member of the piano quartet Opus One, and has made numerous appearances at Bravo! Vail Valley. McDermott has also served as artistic director of the Ocean Reef Chamber Music Festival (Key Largo, Fla.) for the last four seasons, and as artistic director of Curaçao’s Avila Chamber Music Celebration for the last five.
