SUE ROSS has been named director of development at the Santa Rosa Symphony in California. Most recently executive director of the Healdsburg (Cal.) Museum and Historical Society, she has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit administration with such organizations as LEAD International, Chicago’s Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, the Art Institute of Chicago, Joffrey Ballet, and Marin Ballet. Ross has also taught courses in business at Chicago’s DePaul University and in fundraising/grant writing at Columbia College, also in Chicago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Western Michigan University, and pursued postgraduate studies in education, criminal justice, and marketing at the University of Illinois, Northwestern University, Chicago State University, and the University of Phoenix.
