ROSSEN MILANOV has extended his contract as music director of Ohio’s Columbus Symphony through the 2024-25 season. He was initially appointed music director in 2015; he is also music director of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, and the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias in Spain. Milanov has appeared with orchestras throughout the U.S. and has led orchestras and operas internationally. He studied conducting at the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School.
