Philadelphia-based Astral Artists, which specializes in developing the early careers of classical musicians, has announced six winners of its 2017 National Auditions. They are cellists Zlatomir Fung and Thomas Mesa; harpist Rachel Lee Hall; flutist Beomjae Kim; trombonist Brittany Lasch; and pianist Ronaldo Rolim. The six will receive career development mentorship, marketing materials, performance opportunities, community engagement experience, and networking with top professionals in the field. They will perform at the 2017 Astral National Auditions Winners Concert at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on October 10.
