Funding and Research Opportunities from the Wallace Foundation

To advance understanding, appreciation, and support of arts organizations of color, the Wallace Foundation is seeking proposals and letters of intent for a series of field-initiated studies submitted by arts and culture organizations working in partnership with scholars and researchers. These research opportunities are tied to the Wallace Foundation’s multi-year initiative that seeks to advance understanding of how the well-being of arts organizations of color relates to their founding missions of advancing, serving, and engaging communities of color. The initiative’s research program is expected to produce more than 40 new studies about different aspects of the arts ecosystem in which arts organizations of color are builders and contributors.
