The Naples Philharmonic.

Artis—Naples, the parent organization of Florida’s Naples Philharmonic, has announced a new three-year contract with Naples Philharmonic musicians that includes a one-time cost of living payment and a 14 percent increase in base pay over the course of the contract and the expansion of the orchestra. The musicians ratified the agreement at the end of January, nearly six months ahead of the expiration of the current contract. The new agreement extends through the 2025-26 season and adds two new permanent full-time positions for the orchestra, provides flexibility in work rules to explore new earned-revenue opportunities, expands digital engagement possibilities for students and world-wide audiences, and enhances shared authority for artistic decision-making. The terms were negotiated during seven sessions beginning in October 2022; the sessions were conducted without legal representation for either side.
