The deadline is November 20 for high school and college-age musicians to enter the 13th annual National Young Artist Competition of the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra in Idaho. The competition is open to high school instrumentalists, and there are categories for collegiate musicians in brass, winds, percussion, strings, collegiate piano, and voice. The finals will be held at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington on January 9 and 10, 2016, and winners will perform with the orchestra at the Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on March 11 and 12, 2016.
