The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra has announced the seventh annual BSO Academy Week. From Saturday, June 18 through Saturday, June 25, instrumentalists from across the country are invited to rehearse and perform side-by-side with BSO musicians in an intensive music “fantasy camp.”
Orchestra administrators can get a behind-the-scenes look the program with the BSO Academy Arts Administrator Track (June 18-25), which offers insights into the program’s history, funding, and logistical strategies, as well as how it integrates the mindsets of the amateur and professional musician.
Applications are accepted for the BSO Academy Week Arts Administrator Track on a rolling basis. The BSO Academy is supported in part by funding from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
