The Las Vegas Philharmonic has announced the appointment of KEVIN R. EBERLE as education director. Also the orchestra’s director of operations, he was previously education coordinator for the Redlands (Calif.) Symphony and taught music for four years in California and Arizona public schools. A bassoonist, Eberle has played in the Redlands Symphony, the Riverside (Calif.) Lyric Opera, the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and Arizona’s Scottsdale Arts Orchestra and Phoenix Symphony. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from the University of Redlands and a doctorate in music from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
