California’s La Jolla Symphony and Chorus has announced the appointment of PATRICK WALDERS as choral director, effective July 1, 2017. He will succeed DAVID CHASE, who has led the chorus since 1973 and will retire in June. He is founder and artistic director of the San Diego Summer Choral Festival and Conducting Workshop, and with his wife, Katie, founded San Diego Pro Arte Voices, a professional chamber choir.
