The Alexandria Symphony Orchestra in Virginia has appointed PAUL A. FRANK executive director. With experience in strategic planning and fundraising, including community building and arts management, he is the founding principal of Paul A. Frank Consulting, which specializes in helping organizations set goals. He previously served as CEO of the Collingwood Library and Museum as well as executive director for the Friends of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, and most recently, interim executive director for the McLean Orchestra. The ASO is in the second year of a search for a music director. The 73rd season is currently underway with guest conductors leading concerts at two Alexandria venues.
