Boston’s Handel and Haydn Society has appointed DEBRA NAGY principal oboe, effective July 1, 2018. A specialist in Baroque and Classical repertoire, Nagy performs regularly with American Bach Soloists, Seattle Baroque Orchestra, and Apollo’s Fire, and has been a frequent guest with the Handel and Haydn Society in recent seasons. A dedicated chamber musician, Nagy is the founder of Les Délices, which performs and presents early music in nontraditional settings. She performs late-medieval music as a regular guest with Boston’s Blue Heron and the Newberry Consort.
