The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra has named HELANE ANDERSON director of artistic planning, effective January 11, 2010. She is currently artistic administrator for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Anderson served previously as director of composers and repertoire at the New York-based music publisher Boosey and Hawkes, and worked in public relations both at that firm and at Kirshbaum Demler & Associates. She holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Salem College (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and a masters in arts administration from Indiana University.
