Musicians from the San Francisco Symphony will be among the groups performing in a free concert today, April 29, at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral being held in solidarity with the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris after the destructive fire there on April 15. Performers at the concert, co-presented by the city and county of San Francisco, the French consulate, and Grace Cathedral, will also include American Bach Soloists, Grace Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys, San Francisco Opera, and Johann Vexo, organist from Notre-Dame. San Francisco and Paris are Sister Cities, and Grace Cathedral, like Notre-Dame, is French Gothic in design. Tickets for the 6:00 pm concert are free but required, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for more information.
