IMG Artists has announced the appointment of STÉPHANE DENÈVE to succeed Sir Roger Norrington as chief conductor of Germany’s Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, effective September 2011. Denève will continue as music director of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, where he has served since 2005 and recently extended his contract through the 2011-12 season.
